    The EXPANDEX 66 protective hose is made of polyamide 6.6 monofilaments having high mechanical resistance and being processed to form an open braided design. The hose has outstanding suitability for the bundling of cables and lines. For cuts to length, a hot cutting technique is used in order to prevent the braiding from fraying. Use of a thermoplastic fibre provides thermal resistance of 155°C. Due to the outstanding expandability of up to 100%, the nominal diameter is only a reference value for the application. Practical experiments are always advisable because these protective hoses are very extensible, and a single nominal diameter is often suitable for various bundles of lines. EXPANDEX 66 is designed as a protective hose with high mechanical and chemical resistance and therefore with limited thermal resistance and without a defined breakdown voltage.
